Goldielegs in Wonderland

“I knew who I was this morning, but I’ve changed a few times since then.” – Alice in Wonderland

Today I need to give a shoutout and thank you to Walter Baker! Without him and without this ensemble, I’m not sure I’d ever feel like a modernized blend of Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland. This baby blue co-ord outfit is absolutely perfect for a hot day, and is also something I can wear anywhere. It’s a silk blend with crocheted sleeves and back, allowing that nice breeze in to cool you off. And we all know how much I love outfits that are great for twirling!

For this particular look, I wanted to dress it up a bit, as I was heading out to meet up with some girlfriends for a rooftop Sunday funday. So I tucked the top in and bloused it a bit, slipped into my favorite Nine West ‘Baebee’ sandals, and added a dainty pair of earrings and bracelet. My earrings are from Charming Charlie (and they were such a steal!), while my bracelet is from White House Black Market (not a steal, but I’m obsessed with it). Another way I like to wear this if I’m not wanting to get as dolled up is simply by untucking the shirt and pairing it with a low-top sneaker. It’s comfortable, but still keeps me looking put together!

This set is no longer available, but I’ve linked Walter Baker HERE and also added in some of my other favorite two piece sets below. Be sure to check them all out because they will be your summer go-to!

Until next time…stay golden!

Goldfinger

“Pretty girl, beware of his heart of gold” – Shirley Bassey

In the words of Austin Powers…I LOVE GOLD!!! I wish I could say I was joking, but of all my jewelry, I have maybe three pieces that are silver. I really should branch out, but the heart wants what it wants. Who am I to disregard that?!

When I received my box from Rocksbox and saw what they sent, I legitimately felt a warmth all over. I knew exactly what I would wear them with and where to. They made their way out on New Years Eve, on a first date, girl’s night out, and for this shoot. While I did wear them a bit, I wanted to make sure to shoot it with a simple top and background because each piece is so intricate and makes quite the statement on its own. I’ve set up a widget for you to shop the items if you love them as much as I do. The only piece that isn’t available is the necklace, which is actually by SLATE, so I added similar looking pendant necklaces for you! I also even attached my turtleneck…it is the most gloriously fitted turtleneck of all time.

Until next time…stay golden!

Feeling that flower power! While the sun was setting, we were able to get the last few shots for this look and it really tied everything together. This boho look is perfect to take from day to night. For the daytime, throw on a cute flat sandal and maybe even a floppy hat for a fun, casual look. For a night out, play it up with a pair of strappy heeled sandals and some simple accessories for a sexier, flirty look. Either way, you’re going to be comfy, yet oh-so boho chic!

Until next time…stay golden!

This week, I’ve been all about the fitness and sporty fashion, and today is no exception. With how hot it’s been outside, dressing comfortable but still cute is a must! This outfit is bold but casual, and one of my new favorites! Now who wants to go dance their booty’s off with me for thirsty Thursday?!

Until next time…stay golden!

Top & Skirt – Zara; Heels – Steve Madden; Earrings – Charming Charlie
Bracelet – White House Black Market; Rings – H&M; Sunglasses – Wonderland Sun

Who says you need to live in a big city to dress like you do? Not this girl! I am all about dressing to make YOURSELF feel beautiful and confident, no matter where you live!

Just about a year ago, while living in New York, my mom visited me for my birthday. Naturally, we went on a shopping spree! I generally dress pretty minimalist and/or basic, but sometimes I like to branch out…and this outfit was it for the trip. My mom didn’t say a word until she realized how much I loved it because she feared I would put it back if she said anything!

This fun and flirty piece is just about the perfect outfit for any occasion in any location. Bridal showers, weddings, girl’s night out, dinner date…you name it and it can be worn there! For this particular shoot, I kept it pretty minimal and feminine. The earrings and bracelet both have white marble stone set in gold with some diamonds surrounding it, while the rings are a simple gold heart trio set. Want to edge it up a bit? Throw on a leather jacket with a pair of strappy black pumps/heels and add cool black clutch!

Until next time…stay golden!
