Now, I’ve lived in Los Angeles off and on for nearly 7 years and I’ve been to Rodeo Drive several times, yet somehow I never made it to the stairs and that cute little cobblestone area! What the heck?! I stumbled across it while I was out taking photos one morning before the area turned into tourist central. Naturally, I started wandering and came up on the most adorable spot with shops, light posts covered in vines and flowers, a sweet little restaurant that had red plaid picnic-type tables for outside seating…the works! It was like walking into a dream, having the WHOLE place to myself…for five or ten minutes at least 😀

I knew this was the perfect location to take photos in my new Lulu’s dress though, so I set my tripod up, found the angle I wanted, put the self timer on and got started! It was a bit of a challenge, as many people were walking by, behind, or in front of me, but sometimes you just have to go with the flow. If you know me at all, you know that’s not my strong suit 😛 Regardless, I did it and I was able to get some photos I’m really proud of that show off this dress and this place!
